Christmas in Aguanga – Becky & Lonnie

We gathered together with Jean & Doug, Marlene & Larry, and Loretta & Dick to share a turkey dinner in the Ranch House.

Before we ate, Doug gave a toast to our founder because without Joe and Kay Petersen we would not have been together enjoying each other’s company. Loretta & Dick worked with Joe when they were building the Jojoba Hills SKP Park, making sure all Escapee travelers would have an affordable place to stay on their journeys. Their vision was to create a way for Escapees to meet and communicate, allowing others to share ideas about the RV lifestyle.

We were fortunate to have met Kay and Joe at Escapades in September. Joe always had a joke or two and will be missed. He passed away December 22, 2010.
